Since the first basketball game was played at Fullington Academy in January 1971, athletics have played a big role in the education of our students.  Students learn many life skills including determination, teamwork, organization, and communication from participating in athletics. Fullington Academy offers students opportunities in football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, track, shotgun and golf.

In 2014, the school became a charter member in the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association (GICAA) and won its first state championship in football.  Since then, Fullington has added state championships in baseball (2015), Girl's Basketball (2016, 2017), and Softball (2017, 2018).

The primary goal of school athletics is to teach life lessons, discipline and life skills that will equip and prepare our young men and women for the world beyond school athletics.
