Our History

Founded in 1970, Fullington Academy has served families throughout South Georgia for more than five decades. What began as a small independent school has grown into a thriving Christian college preparatory academy known for academic excellence, strong character, and a commitment to student success.
Throughout our history, Fullington Academy has expanded its campus, strengthened its academic programs, and developed opportunities in athletics, fine arts, leadership, and service. While much has changed over the years, our commitment to providing a supportive environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive remains unchanged.

1970 – Fullington Academy opens its doors.
1971 – The Trojan mascot is adopted and athletics begin.
1973 – Sewell Hall is completed.
1982 – The Learning Center is established.
1997 – Garden Hall is completed.
2014 – New Primary School building opens.
 

Today – Fullington Academy continues to serve students from 3K–12th grade with a focus on faith, academics, leadership, and character.
