
Board of Directors
Fullington Academy is governed by a seven-member volunteer Board of Directors. Board members serve three-year terms and can serve an unlimited number of consecutive terms. The Board’s responsibility is to set policy, hire and evaluate the Head of School and monitor the mission, vision, and other functions of the school. The Board is not involved in the day-to-day operation of the school. The Board meets on the third Monday of each month in a closed session. Board members have no power to make decisions or set policy except when they meet as a Board and make decisions as a group. Persons wanting to appeal a decision made by Administration may request to come before the Board for an appeal.
